A brand new facility has opened in a popular holiday destination, offering lovely sea views over the golf course.

Heacham Manor, a hotel part of the Searles Leisure Group, offers the perfect Norfolk getaway. It opened its new expansion The Pavilion last month and has already received dozens of reservations for the Mulberry restaurant, thanks to its enticing menu.

Marketing director Graham Bray said he hopes the new facility will be a hot spot for corporate meetings, nightclubs and weddings.

He told Lynn News: “We already had a wedding here right from the start, using the meeting rooms, it’s very bright and bright, that’s what people want, a place to enjoy the ‘air and sun. “

The Pavilion has 52 guest rooms, and more in the adjoining mansion.

The spa hopes to resume soon, and the beach is just around the corner.

Mr Bray said: “This can be a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, we have everything you need here and the ability to enjoy the fruits of the Norfolk coast. We have a multi-purpose space that can accommodate business and personal needs. Our meeting rooms can function for hybrid zoom meetings and we have space to set up a stage. “

The Pavilion offers basic British afternoon tea, adorned with artistic pastries from French pastry chef Fabien Eon, who has been at Heacham Manor since it opened years ago.

In addition to afternoon tea, guests can enjoy a menu from Dale Hürlimann, a chef trained in one of the best culinary schools in Switzerland.

The menu features the sea’s favorite Cromer crab as part of its popular seafood platter, teriyaki beef skewers, and chocolate orange cake. Vegetarian options are also available.

Currently, the hospitality industry is facing post-pandemic issues, as the industry was largely shut down during the nationwide lockdown.

Mr. Bray hopes the staff can be confident if they work for the Searles Group.

He said: “It has been difficult to find staff, but those we have can be assured that we can offer job security. We have taken care of our staff during the lockdown and will do so again if we have to. enter another one. We want to focus on advancing employment and encouraging staff to learn and get those promotions. “

The Pavilion is currently taking restaurant and room reservations as well as posting vacancies. The venue is full for weddings until October of this year.
